This is a payment order authorising a withdrawal from your account,
corresponding to the amount of your bill. Detach it, date, sign,

In France, several types of cards are in use.
You will receive a personal identification number (PIN code) for each one,
which must be memorised (confidential information).
The most widely used cards are:
The withdrawal card (carte de retrait)
This enables you to make cash withdrawals from a Crédit Mutuel cash
dispenser (ATM), in French, Guichet Automatic de Banque or GAB, 24
hours a day.
You can also carry out the following operations at these ATMs:
- Transfer money to a savings account
- Find out balance or your account and details of your most
recent operations
- Obtain a R.I.B. (see above)
The withdrawal and payment card (carte de retrait and paiement)
As in the United Kingdom, this enables you to :
- Withdraw money and pay for your purchases worldwide
- Benefit from repatriation assistance and arrange for certain
medical expenses to be paid

Moneo is an electronic wallet used in France, which provides a
straightforward method of paying for minor items of everyday expenditure.
It avoids the inconvenience of carrying small change: no need to have a
wallet full of coins, keep taking cash out or handling change, etc.
You can use it in many small shops, e.g. bakeries, bars, newsagents,
chemists, etc. It is easy to spot and the establishments that take it, as
they display a prominent sticker in their window and at the cash desk.
